Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 22 June 2026
1. Service Description
StatutoryDeed (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides an online document preparation service that generates Unenrolled Deed Poll documents for personal name changes within England and Wales. We do not provide legal advice.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use this service on your own behalf. If changing the name of a child under 16, all persons with parental responsibility must consent to the change.
3. Accuracy of Information
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide. We generate documents based on the data you submit. Incorrect information may result in your Deed Poll being rejected by organisations.
4. Payment
Payment is processed securely via Razorpay. The fee is a one-time payment of £14.99 for the Standard tier. Payment must be completed before the document is generated and delivered.
5. Delivery
Upon successful payment, your Deed Poll PDF will be available for immediate download and sent to the email address you provide. Download links expire after 7 days but can be re-issued via the Order Lookup page.
6. No Legal Advice
The documents generated by StatutoryDeed are templates prepared using standard legal wording recognised in England and Wales. We do not guarantee acceptance by any particular organisation. For complex situations (e.g. enrolled deed polls, child custody disputes), seek independent legal advice.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StatutoryDeed shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our service, including but not limited to rejection of documents by third-party organisations.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
