We collect only the data necessary to generate your Deed Poll document:

• Current full legal name
• New full legal name
• Date of birth
• Current address
• Email address
• Reason for name change

2. How We Use Your Data

Your personal data is used exclusively to:

• Generate your Deed Poll document
• Process your payment via Razorpay
• Deliver your document via email
• Enable order lookup and re-download

We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage & Security

Personal data is stored in a secured MongoDB Atlas database. Generated PDF documents are stored in Cloudinary with authenticated access only (signed URLs). All data is transmitted over HTTPS (TLS 1.2+).

4. Data Retention

We retain your personal data and generated documents for 90 days after creation. After this period, personal data and associated Cloudinary files are automatically deleted.

5. Your Rights (UK GDPR)

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Rectify inaccurate data
• Erase your data (“right to be forgotten”)
• Restrict processing
• Data portability

• Mailgun — transactional email delivery
• MongoDB Atlas — database hosting

We use only essential cookies required for the operation of our service (e.g. session management). We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.
